This Bolivian public company is a national leader in the production and marketing of milk and dairy products, applying processes based on the regulation in force in order to guarantee quality and food innocuousness, as well as care and protection of the environment, occupational health and safety, and business sustainability and profitability.
To carry out this activity, the company needed a tailor-made facility, and this is where Zumex has played its part.
This facility, located in Valle Sacta, with a surface area of 9305 m2, is made up of an extraction line, juice and nectar formulation and packing plant, and a peel drying plant for use as a by-product for animal food.
The facility is capable of producing 24,000 litres of fruit juice and nectar, as well as frozen fruit.In this process, the peel will be transformed into balanced food to feed cattle.

Extraction line:
Post-harvest line with box tipper, selection table, brush washer, conveyor belts and elevators to calibration line and extractor feed line.
Common platform for:
- 3 extractors for citrus fruit, model PJE with cups for 5000 l/h.
- Tropical fruit juice extractor, such as pineapple, guava, papaya.
- First and second stage finishers.
- Screw press to extract secondary juices from pulps and skin.
- Dual screw press to extract humidity from skin and pulp before drying them.
